We know that walking into a new church can be intimidating. We want to help make your first experience at The Rock Church a positive one! We hope that this page helps to ease any nerves and encourages you to attend.
When and where is service?
The Rock Church is located at 4950 Vista Blvd in Sparks 0.4 miles north of the Disc Dr and Vista Blvd intersection. Our service is on Sunday mornings at 10 am. You can enter the parking lot past the digital sign on Vista Blvd.
What can I expect?
Sundays at The Rock Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. Most people wear jeans and casual attire, but please come in what feels comfortable for you.
In total, a church service is about 70 minutes in length. Services begin with the band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our Pastors will come out to share a practical, encouraging, and hope-filled message centering on Jesus.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at The Rock we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Rock Kids program the first time that you visit. For your first visit, you’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for our Rock Kids experience. After that, check-in will be an easy and quick process.
We currently offer programming for kids ages infant through Grade 6 every Sunday morning. Our Student Rock (Grades 6 - 12) program meets every Thursday Night at 6:30 pm. Pre-register your family below and we'll follow up with any other details you might need to know as you plan your visit.
